The second prospective, double-blind, comparator-controlled, randomized, multicenter clinical study included 72 subjects that had mild to moderate knee joint problems. Lanconone® was evaluated to determine if it was effective quickly compared to an over the counter product.
Single doses of either Lanconone® at 1000 mg or an over the counter product at 400 mg was provided. Exercise was performed after taking the products and the scores were recorded. The Visual analogue scale (VAS) was used to measure responses from the subjects. It is a clinical tool frequently used and well accepted in clinical trials.
• Both Lanconone® and the over the counter product showed the first perceived relief in approximately one hour. Meaningful relief experienced in the Lanconone® group occurred at little over 3 ¼ hours compared to the over the counter product, which was around 2 ¾ hours.
• At the end of 6 hours, 88.9% of the Lanconone® group demonstrated ≥ 50% relief compared to 91.4% in the over the counter product.
• The VAS score in the Lanconone® group showed a significant 75% reduction and 80%for the over the counter product.
• The meaningful joint relief continued for 6 hours
The investigators concluded that Lanconone® has rapid joint relief support potential.
Application and Serving Size
The recommended serving size of Lanconone® is 1000 mg per day delivered as a supplement in capsules or tablets.

Lanconone® demonstrated the following benefits:
• 46% improvement in joint discomfort compared to only 19% improvement in placebo group
• 44% improvement in joint stiffness compared to only 15% improvement in placebo group
• 41% improvement in overall joint function compared to only 20% improvement in placebo group
• Sustained improvement – 17% after discontinuation of Lanconone® compared to 4%increase for placebo group
